Spiritual Guru sasi Krishnasamy celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi

Sasi Krishnasamy, the founder of Ayngaran Foundation and a renowned spiritual guru and social activist, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with his followers and devotees on August 19, 2023. Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom and success.

Sasi Krishnasamy, who is known for his teachings on mindfulness and self-awareness, said that Ganesh Chaturthi is a special occasion to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha and to overcome the obstacles in life. He said that by following the principles of mindfulness and self-awareness, one can achieve true happiness and fulfilment from within.

He also said that Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that celebrates the diversity and unity of India, as people from different regions, cultures and religions worship Lord Ganesha in their own ways. He said that he respects and appreciates the various traditions and customs associated with Ganesh Chaturthi, such as making clay idols of Ganesha, offering modaks (sweet dumplings) and other delicacies to Ganesha, performing arti (ritual worship) and chanting mantras (sacred sounds), and immersing the idols in water bodies.

Sasi Krishnasamy also shared his insights on the significance of the symbols and attributes of Lord Ganesha, such as his elephant head, his trunk, his large ears, his small eyes, his four arms, his broken tusk, his mouse vehicle, and his lotus seat. He explained how each of these symbols represents a quality or a lesson that can help one to live a better life.

He also narrated some stories from the mythology and folklore of Lord Ganesha, such as how he got his elephant head, how he became the leader of the ganas (the celestial attendants of Siva), how he outsmarted his brother Kartikeya in a race around the world, how he wrote the epic Mahabharata with his broken tusk, how he defeated the demon king Bali with his mouse vehicle, and how he blessed the sage Vyasa with his lotus seat.

Sasi Krishnasamy concluded his celebration by performing a special puja (ritual worship) for Lord Ganesha, along with his followers and devotees. He also distributed prasad (sacred food) to everyone present. He said that he hopes that Lord Ganesha will shower his grace and guidance on everyone and help them to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.

He also thanked everyone for joining him in celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi and invited them to read his ebook "Celebration of the Birth of Lord Ganesha: Ganesh Chaturthi-Ayngaran Foundation" [^1^][1], which is available on Amazon Kindle Store. He said that this ebook contains more details about Ganesh Chaturthi and its significance, as well as some tips and techniques on how to practice mindfulness and self-awareness in daily life.
